About Lyora

I'm a Master of Psychology student at Adler Graduate Professional School, currently completing my clinical practicum at Thrive Psychology under the supervision of Dr. Christal Castagnozzi, C.Psych.

I've spent nearly a decade working with children, youth, and families across school, residential, and community mental health settings. What's stayed consistent throughout that work is my belief that people do better when they feel genuinely understood.

I approach every session with warmth, curiosity, and a commitment to meeting you where you are. My work is grounded in trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming principles, and I'm especially passionate about helping children and young people build the emotional tools that help them navigate their world with more ease and confidence.

  • My approach is evidence-based and developmentally informed, which means I consider where a child or young person is developmentally. I draw on CBT, trauma-informed frameworks, and neurodiversity-affirming practices to create sessions that feel safe, engaging, and genuinely useful. I also believe strongly in working alongside families, not just with the individual, because change tends to last longer when the people around a child are part of the process.
